Hey everyone — I’m working on tightening up our email targeting and wondering how folks here handle engagement-based segmentation in Email Monkey.
Specifically, I want to build segments around how recently someone has interacted with our emails — e.g., opened or clicked in the last 30 days, 60 days, 90+ days, etc. I saw that you can filter by “last opened” or “last clicked,” but I’m not totally sure how reliable that is (especially with privacy changes) or how to make these segments update dynamically over time.
Ideally, I’d like to set up a few buckets like:
-
Active (opened/clicked in last 30 days)
-
Warming (31–90 days)
-
Cold (90+ days of inactivity)
Is that something you all are doing inside Email Monkey directly? Or are you exporting data and running this logic elsewhere?
Bonus Q: any tips for re-engagement campaigns once folks fall into the “cold” bucket? Open to creative ideas.
Appreciate any thoughts — would love to hear how others are approaching this!
