Overview
This article explains how to create an automated drip campaign in EmailMonkey that triggers when a new subscriber joins via a landing page.
Prerequisites
- An active EmailMonkey account
- A published landing page with an embedded EmailMonkey signup form
- At least one email template ready to send
Steps
1. Create a Subscriber List
Navigate to Lists > Create New List and set up a dedicated list for your landing page subscribers. This keeps your audience segmented from the start.
2. Connect Your Landing Page Form
In your landing page settings, ensure the signup form is mapped to the list you just created. Go to Forms > Integrations and confirm the correct list is selected.
3. Build Your Drip Sequence
- Go to Automations > Create Workflow
- Select "Subscriber joins a list" as the trigger
- Choose your landing page subscriber list
- Add your email steps and set the delay between each (e.g. immediately, day 3, day 7)
4. Activate the Workflow
Once your sequence is configured, click Publish Workflow. New subscribers will automatically enter the drip campaign upon signup.
Tips
- Keep early emails short and focused on welcoming the subscriber
- Use personalization tokens like
{{first_name}}to improve engagement - Monitor open and click rates under Reports > Automation Analytics to optimize over time
